Needing a map

The philosophy and otherwise irrelevant ramblings of a struggling poet.

It's been an odd day so far. It started with a dream.
A very bad dream.
One from which I couldn't seem to wake up.
Fortunately, I have a 25lb cat. He jumped on me and woke me up as I was in a room filled with very large vats of water and in constant fear that someone was going to come drown me.

Writer thoughts are still going, but they have taken a weird turn into artist land as well, and it's a little hard to put up on a blog.

I'm still alive and wellish when not plagued by bad dreams.

/hugs for all
enjoy the day

Ok, so the whole posting more this month thing didn't work out so well...
Partly because I moved. Partly because I'm working more. Partly because since I moved, my phone was out of order for over a week, therefore my DSL was out of order for a week... SO... 2 weeks of it really wasn't my fault. I still don't have my official DSL e-mail restarted on this computer, so I'm not even remotely caught up with what I'm supposed to be doing.
But, computer is restarted, DSL is working, phone is working.... House is completely unpacked... well at least the first 3 are true. I am enjoying my new apartment. It is on the ground floor and in a 4plex instead of an apartment building. It is still close to the flower shop, so I can still walk to work during the summer.
My car is still dead and sitting at my other apartment. I think it may have to wait till the fall to get fixed. I just don't have the cash to deal with it right now.

In other news, I saw an old friend tonight who has inspired some oddish writing thoughts. She was in my classes at Drury and I enjoyed talking to her. She is one of those people who always had faith in me and I have been thinking about a few things since I saw her, so who knows--I might actually get creative for a little bit.
